FAQ
Elemental Media offers marketing-based video and photo production that ranges from full-service concepting, strategy, and placement consulting all the way to production support for other agencies and internal teams. We understand that no two visual needs are the same and we keep our service offerings flexible to fit those needs.
First and foremost, when starting a video project it’s important to consider who your audience is and what action you want them to take. You may want to raise awareness of your brand, sell a product, or direct traffic to your website. Whether you already know your goals or want help discovering them, once we have answers to these first two questions we can get started!
There are countless factors that go into estimates for video projects. Will there be talent to cast? Will your video include a voice-over? Is there travel? How many days of production are there? These are questions we answer in the preliminary and concept stages in order to give an accurate estimate and start your project with a strong direction.
There are 4 main steps to every video project. Kickoff, pre-production, production, and post-production. Each phase has its own steps, but they all within this main framework. We’ll guide you through each step of the process.

Your wardrobe should be influenced by the overall purpose of the portraits, but we do have a general style guide that we’re happy to provide, and we work closely with you to finalize wardrobe choices that fit your vision.
Experience level is something that varies project to project, but we have numerous opportunities for entry-level roles for those with little to no on-camera background. Just keep an eye on the wording of any casting calls to note specific requirements.
When Elemental does internal casting for our photo and video projects, a Google form will be made live and available to fill out via the link in our Instagram bio, as well as on our website. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to send us a message.
Elemental recruits interns regularly for roles in production, editing, social media, and more. The internship form will become live on our website when we are actively accepting applications.
At this time, Elemental is not actively hiring for full-time internal roles. However, as an agency-model production house, we are always building and expanding our list of trusted contractors and freelance connections. If you fit that description, we can’t wait to hear from you!
Drop us a line with your portfolio and any relevant experience. We would love to grab a coffee, talk shop, and see if our styles would be a good fit.
