Client Introduction
Based in the heart of downtown Kalamazoo, Brick and Brine brings a fresh take to new American cuisine. We had the pleasure of producing their promotional and website visuals when they opened and have completed several updates to their advertising since.
Project Objectives
- Highlighting the unique offerings Brick and Brine brings to downtown Kalamazoo
- Capturing a photo library to reinforce the visuals through stills
- Giving the viewer a sense of FOMO while giving a window into the “Why” behind the restaurant
Case Study Results
In order to communicate the elevated quality of the food, beverage, and atmosphere while giving the videos a voice that feels authentic and familiar, we decided on staff interviews as a voiceover behind strategically staged footage. The resulting sound bites are a mix of genuine responses to questions and lines written to guide the story where we needed it to go in a short-form length.
The lighting in both videos and photos is motivated by the lighting in the restaurant, resulting in a warm, but elevated look to what is already there.
